About the Role:
We’re looking for a Medior Automation QA Engineer who wants to do more than execute test cases. You’ll help define standards, improve automation, and shape our QA processes for complex, Azure-based .NET solutions that power fiscal integrations across Europe.
You’ll work in a product-oriented environment — testing APIs, cloud services, and web applications used by Tier 1 global retailers.
You’ll design the automation, own the tools, and improve our pipelines and practices.
Your Responsibilities:
- Define and improve QA automation standards for .NET Core middleware, REST APIs, and Azure services
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for API, backend, and UI layers
- Set up and run load/performance tests using specific tools
- Validate complex client integrations across multiple cloud environments
- Work closely with developers and DevOps to enhance CI/CD testing and release quality
- Contribute to introducing new QA tools and automation practices
- Mentor junior QA team members and foster a culture of ownership and accountability
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer (manual and automation)
- 2+ years in test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Strong API testing experience (Postman, Apidog, Swagger, etc.)
- Strong understanding of REST, JSON, and test data management
- Good understanding of CI/CD and test automation pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- Familiarity with test data management and mocking strategies
- Working knowledge of UI automation (required for client integration coverage)
- Hands-on experience with load/performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, etc.)
- Experience testing backend or integration-based systems (.NET or similar)
- Proactive mindset — not just identifying issues, but improving processes
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience defining QA processes or introducing automation standards
- Knowledge of load/performance testing concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Scripting or test automation experience (any language or framework)
