Backend/Full-Stack Developer

Two years ago, we launched fully digital business accounts for freelancers, SMEs, start-ups and corporate clients, becoming one of just five institutions currently holding a FinTech licence in Switzerland. Our offering is built on a compliance technology that allows us to serve companies with complex business setups.

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll join a team of skilled developers and collaborate closely with QA, DevOps and Product management. Together, we design, architect, develop, and test exciting new features for our state-of-the-art payment product.

What You’ll Do:

• Full-Stack Development: Develop, test, and document features for both our internal compliance applications and Relio’s public-facing payment systems.
• Clarify & Refine: Collaborate with the team to turn high-level ideas into detailed technical specifications, ensuring clarity and precision in every feature.
• End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of the SDLC, from navigating ambiguous requirements to final production deployment.
• Architectural Leadership: Communicate and document architectural decisions clearly to ensure team alignment and scalable growth.
• Product Stewardship: Maintain and optimize the code you produce, providing bug fixes and ongoing support to ensure system stability.

Who You Are:

• Experienced Developer: 3+ years in professional software development with a track record of building scalable, reliable applications.
• CS Fundamentals: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and clean architecture.
• TypeScript Focus: Expertise in TypeScript is preferred, but we welcome masters of C++, Java, or C# who are eager to switch stacks.
• Full-Stack Mindset: A versatile problem-solver willing to handle both backend and frontend features as needed.
• Web & Data Expert: Deep knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL), HTTP protocols, and RESTful APIs.
• Quality Driven: Committed to writing robust unit/integration tests and possessing advanced debugging and profiling skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
• Communicator: Fluent in English and comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
