ABOUT THE ROLE
If you have been waiting for a role that lets you combine serious SEO craft, the new GEO / AI-search playbook, modern AI tooling, and a full social mandate across LinkedIn, Medium, Instagram, X and YouTube, in a mission that actually matters, this is it.
We are hiring a Chief of AI & Digital Marketing to architect how our market sees, finds, and understands us, long before a first conversation or a sales call. This is a dual-mandate role across two connected brands. You will own digital marketing end-to-end for Zunić Law and for Whisperly.
You will not close deals. You will build the pipeline: the audience that already understands the value of what we do and is ready for a 1:1 conversation, which is then picked up by the Chief of Sales and the CRM. Marketing in this role is the systematic creation of interest, authority and trust at scale.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Digital strategy and growth
- A single digital marketing strategy for Zunić Law and Whisperly, with quantified OKRs agreed with the CEO.
- Monthly reporting that is numerical and auditable, not narrative.
- Continuous testing of new channels and AI-assisted workflows.
Website and technical SEO
- Full ownership of both websites on performance, SEO and structured data: Core Web Vitals, schema markup, canonical strategy, sitemap hygiene, log-file reviews, staging workflows.
- WordPress fluency: plugin management, page building, SEO plugin configuration (Yoast / Rank Math).
- Cloudflare basics: DNS, cache purge, page rules.
- Lovable comfort for site-building where relevant.
Content SEO and GEO / AEO
- Editorial SEO layer on top of the legal team’s content: briefs, keyword research, internal linking, cornerstone architecture, content refreshes.
- GEO and AEO execution: structuring content and metadata so that ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude and similar assistants cite our pages as primary sources.
- Fluency with Ahrefs (or Semrush / Sistrix), Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio.
Social media across a demanding stack
- LinkedIn, Medium, Instagram, X and YouTube, each treated as a separate discipline with its own strategy, cadence and analytics.
- Content localisation instinct: adapting the same message for a Brussels compliance audience vs. a London legal market vs. a domestic Serbian audience.
- Reputation management across Google Business Profile, review platforms and Reddit.
Paid, analytics and AI tooling
- Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads: efficiency matters more than volume.
- Attribution logic reported in numbers, not vibes.
- Daily operator-level use of GenAI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for research, briefing, editing and content scaffolding.
- AI-assisted SEO tools (Surfer, Frase, Clearscope, NeuronWriter, MarketMuse, Prerender or comparable).
- Automation stack (Zapier, Make, n8n).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Knowledge of the items below must be real, current, deep and demonstrable, not theoretical. Mandatory items are non-negotiable.
Mandatory
- Technical SEO at an operator level. You can audit a site without hand-holding, read a Lighthouse report, fix a schema error in raw JSON-LD, diagnose an indexation problem from Search Console, and hold your ground with a back-end developer.
- GEO and AEO depth, not surface. You have already produced content that is cited by AI assistants and can show the receipts. You understand why citations cluster in the first 30% of a page and design accordingly.
- Social media ownership across the full stack. LinkedIn, Medium, Instagram, X and YouTube. Real operating experience on at least four of the five, not just awareness.
- English at C1 or C2 level. Written and spoken. You can draft a thought-leadership piece for a UK compliance audience that will not be embarrassing to publish. Non-negotiable.
- AI-native workflow. You already run your own work through GenAI daily, and you have built at least one automation or AI-assisted workflow that saves real time.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in video tooling
- Previous experience marketing a legal, RegTech, GRC or B2B SaaS product into EU markets.
- Familiarity with GDPR, the EU AI Act and data-protection terminology.
- Public speaking, podcasting or on-camera comfort.
- Design sensibility: you do not need to be a designer, but you can tell good from bad and brief accordingly.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS
- A single digital marketing strategy document covering both brands, with quantified OKRs agreed with the CEO.
- A tidy, auditable SEO workspace that any team member can navigate.
- Organic traffic growth on both sites, with clean reporting in Looker Studio or equivalent.
- A consistent content cadence on both websites and all mandatory social channels.
- At least one AI-assisted workflow introduced to the team that saves meaningful weekly hours.
- Measurable progress on Whisperly’s share of voice against competitors in target clusters.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Zunic Law and Whisperly sit at the intersection of law, technology and AI governance. This category is about to become one of the most commercially important areas of compliance in Europe, the UK and the US. The person in this role builds the digital voice of both a respected law firm and an emerging GRC platform, with a seat at the strategic table and direct access to the CEO.
WHAT WE WANT TO BE CLEAR ABOUT
We are not hiring a junior who wants to learn digital marketing with us. We are hiring a senior operator who already knows how to move the needle and who wants the freedom to run a proper playbook without being second-guessed on the fundamentals.
A candidate who describes themselves as strong in „content SEO“ but cannot read a Core Web Vitals report, debug a schema error, or run a log file analysis will not be competitive here. Our content is written by lawyers. We need a technical operator, not another writer.
ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
This is a senior role. If we had to attach a number, we would say roughly five or more years of hands-on ownership of SEO, paid and social at a meaningful scale. We are deliberately not writing that number into the criteria.
A small number of people in this field are exceptional before the five-year mark. If you have fewer years but can show a compact portfolio of measurable results, hands-on technical depth in SEO and GEO, and a clear appetite for rapidly adopting new AI tools, apply. We will read that application carefully. What we will not do is hire potential we have to develop over 6 months or more.

For a digital marketing leader, this matters: you will not have to fight to get AI tools approved, and you will be expected to run at the frontier.
