Clerk for freight forwarding and logistics - Operations

We are a growing logistics company specializing in international freight forwarding and are looking for an International Logistics Operations Specialist to manage import and export operations, with a strong focus on LCL consolidated cargo for the German and Scandinavian markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily import and export operations (LCL consolidated shipments)
• Coordinating shipments for Germany and Scandinavian countries
• Communication with foreign agents, carriers, forwarders, and client
• Organizing pickup, consolidation, departure, arrival, and final delivery
• Preparing and checking transport and shipping documentation
  (B/L, invoices, packing lists, manifests, etc.)
• Tracking shipment status and proactively resolving operational issues
• Maintaining accurate records in internal systems
• Providing operational support and updates to clients throughout the process

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics / freight forwarding
• Solid understanding of import/export procedures
• Experience with LCL shipments (strong advantage)
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment
• Good computer skills (MS Office, logistics systems)

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Experience working with German and/or Scandinavian markets
• Knowledge of customs procedures
• Previous experience in international freight forwarding companies
