OCSiAl is the world’s largest producer of graphene nanotubes. Our team consists of more than 450 employees located in Europe, USA, and Asia. Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing electrical control systems and instrumentation for OCSiAl’s production lines (machinery, separate equipment units, and general production-related processes).
- Selecting appropriate sensors, controllers, actuators, and other components for control systems.
- Creating Process Flow Diagrams, Block Flow Diagrams, programming and configuring control systems for PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other software tools.
- Ensuring operation, timely maintenance and repair of equipment in accordance with rules, instructions and orders.
- Monitoring the technical condition and safe operation of equipment, participates in the investigation of the causes of its failure.
- Developing measures to improve the operation, maintenance and repair of instrumentation and automation systems, drawing up technical specifications and monitoring of their implementation.
- Reviewing technical documentation for new instrumentation and automation systems, preparing technical tasks for external vendors.
- Participating in the development and implementation of technological maps, programs, labour organization projects, standards and instructions for operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Developing proposals for standards for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Preparing requests for spare parts, materials, tools and measuring instruments procurement.
- Testing and commissioning control systems implementation to ensure they meet performance / safety standards and the initial technical tasks.
- Providing technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participating in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
- Participates in the installation,adjustment,testing and commissioning of prototypes of products,assemblies,systems and parts of the new and modernized designs,products manufactured by the enterprise.
- Gives feedback and conclusions on draft standards,rationalization proposals and inventions relating to individual elements and assembly units.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA/HMI systems; pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics integration.
- Understanding of electrical schematics, control diagrams, P&IDs,and instrumentation.
- Programming skills: control system engineer must have strong programming skills in languages to develop automation scripts and test scenarios
- Test automation tools proficiency: control system engineer should be familiar with various test automation tools.
- Understanding of SDLC: control system engineer should have a proficient understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how automation fits into different stages of the production process.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies: control system engineer should be familiar with different testing methodologies.
- Problem-solving skills: control system engineer should have strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in automation scripts and test scenarios.
- Communication skills: control system engineer need to effectively communicate with other team members, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure smooth integration of automation testing into the development process.
- Analytical skills: control system engineer should have strong analytical skills to evaluate test results, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Continuous learning: control system design engineer should stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing to continuously improve their skills and stay competitive in the field.
- Intermediate knowledge of English language
