Controlling Specialist

Marketech, the team behind iPlayPlatform, is looking for a motivated Controlling Specialist to join our Finance team in Belgrade. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys analysis, reporting, and providing insights that support decision-making in a fast-paced iGaming environment.

As part of the Controlling team, you will report to the Controlling Team Lead and work closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate planning, cost control, and performance tracking across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly management reports on revenues, costs, and profitability.
• Monitor and control operating expenses, highlighting deviations and risks.
• Provide business insights to support decision-making at both operational and management levels.
• Ensure compliance with internal reporting policies and financial controls
• Collaborate with other finance teams (AP and FinOps) to ensure data consistency.
• Identify and implement improvements in controlling processes, with a focus on scalability and automation in the iGaming sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills is essential; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with large data sets.
• Strong team player with the ability to work in an international, fast-paced environment.
