Job Description:
This position will report to the Customer Requirements Manager.
This role focuses on customer requirement management, starting with reviewing and analyzing documentation containing customer requirements (CR) and customer-specific requirements (CSR). The position works within cross-functional teams to identify required actions for implementing these requirements and developing corresponding action plans. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring implementation progress while managing communication across the team, maintaining internal documentation through regular updates and monthly reviews, completing customer scorecards, and participating in external customer audits such as VDA 6.3.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and analyze documentation containing customer requirements (CR) and customer-specific requirements (CSR);
- In a cross-functional team identify actions required for implementation within organization to meet customer requirements. Form an action plan;
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to align the action plan with the customer.
- Monitor the implementation of set actions, manage communication within a cross-functional team;
- Update internal documentation;
- Conduct a monthly review of internal documentation and fill customer scorecards.
- Participate in the customer audits (e.g. VDA 6.3)
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., chemical, mechanical, industrial) or similar degrees with technical background.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience of work in Customer Requirements Management or Quality or Supplier Development or Supplier Audit Departments in the companies which are Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive OEM suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to coordinate and facilitate discussions among multiple departments;
- Ability to negotiate with the customers;
- Ability to manage several tasks in parallel;
- Expertise in reviewing and managing technical documentation;
- English B2 level required;
Following is considered a plus:
- Basic understanding of principles of customer-related documentation like Quality / Logistic Agreement, Technical / Packaging Specification, CoA;
- Basic understanding of principles of VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 standards;
- Basic understanding of APQP and PPAP processes;
- Basic understanding of documentation like DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, PFD/PFC, process capability indexes, MSA, GR&R, 8D problem solving methodology.
