Design Specialist (Custom Solutions)

We are looking for a Design Specialist - Custom Solutions to join our team and contribute to the creation of customer-specific FIE designs for our B2B and B2C partners. In this role, you will work at the intersection of creativity and production, transforming customer requirements into technically feasible, brand-aligned design solutions. About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and adapting customer-specific FIE motifs using professional design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop).
• Ensuring brand-compliant, product-specific, and technically feasible design execution.
• Preparing complete and accurate data for production, tooling, machines, and quality processes.
• Creating and maintaining SAP master data, including bills of materials and routing sheets.
• Collaborating closely with Production, Product Management, Product Development, Sales, Customer Service, and the Special Motif Office to ensure timely project delivery.
• Incorporating customer feedback and finalizing designs within agreed timelines.
• Supporting continuous improvement of design and development processes.
• Contributing to smooth handovers from design to production through clear documentation and alignment.

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:  

• Completed artistic education at high-school level (graphics, textiles, fashion, visual arts, or similar).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in design development or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Understanding of customer-specific design requirements and brand guidelines.
• Ability to translate creative ideas into technically feasible solutions.
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with the ability to handle feedback constructively.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
• English proficiency (spoken and written); German is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
