District Manager – Food & Beverage

Workforce has partnered with Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention services that protect people and vital resources, to support its expansion. We are looking for a motivated candidate to join their Food & Beverage Division in the position of:

District Manager – Food & Beverage Division

Location: Serbia – Belgrade

Job description:

• Manage sales of products and services through assigned sales representatives and sales office activities
• Prepare the annual sales plan
• Define sales targets for all direct reports according to market opportunities
• Analyse monthly results and initiate actions as required
• Execute quarterly planning reviews
• Monitor sales performance (sales calls/visits, reporting, service/selling ratio, gross margin)
• Monitor operating expenses on a monthly basis
• Provide operational support by coordinating interfaces with internal departments (logistics, finance, accounting)
• Provide commercial and technical support to the team and customers
• Ensure implementation of program roll-outs (product launches, product mix, etc.)
• Prepare regular reports (sales force and self, customer reports, internal reports, monthly sales reports, quarterly equipment provision)

Required qualifications:

• University degree in dairy, food, agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in a relevant field
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Flexibility to travel more than 50% of working time
• Valid driving licence (category B)
• Understanding of Food & Beverage industry challenges and food safety requirements
