Driver/Messenger

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Belgrade is accepting applications for the filling of one (1) full-time position of Driver/Messenger with Local Staff Conditions.

The details of the vacancy are as follows: 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-      Driving the Ambassador and various officials.

-      Maintenance, proper operation and cleaning of the Diplomatic Mission’s vehicle.

-      Compliance with the Serbian Traffic Laws and Regulations.

-      Updating the Vehicle’s Roadbook.

-      Carrying out messenger duties, including mail distribution, transportation of letters, equipment and other items.

-      Assisting with maintenance of Diplomatic Mission’s premises (equipment, furniture etc.)

-      Other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

-      Driving license for at least 5 years.

-      Good knowledge of Serbian and English.

-      High school diploma.

-      Clean Criminal Record.

-      Integrity, confidentiality and reliability.

-      Availability to work outside office hours including on weekends.

-      Prior experience in similar position / Greek language will be considered an advantage. 

Salary:

-      Monthly gross salary is €1.010 (starting position grade)

-      Additional 13th salary

-      Allowance for additional working hours

Applications submitted after the deadline or not supported by the required documentation will not be considered.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview and a driving test. The dates of the interviews will be communicated at a later stage and candidates will be informed accordingly.
