We are looking for:

EHS Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs that ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health standards, and safety protocols within the organization. This role involves conducting audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions also reporting in according to applicable regulations.

Tasks:

• Develop and implement processes and documentation for occupational health and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor health and safety measures
• Advise on the selection and maintenance of work equipment and personal protective equipment
• Organize workplace inspections, training sessions, and safety audits
• Investigate accidents and unsafe conditions, preparing reports with recommendations
• Manage chemical safety documentation and compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate waste management and environmental monitoring activities
• Liaise with external agencies and represent the company in safety-related matters
• Participate in planning and evaluating safety technologies and equipment installation
• Facilitate training programs for employees on health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• University degree in safety, mechanical or process engineering with a focus on occupational health and safety, with knowledge of technical engineering subjects
• 4 years of professional experience in the field of occupational health and safety and fire protection as a specialist, including hazard analysis for equipment, processes and materials preferably in a technically oriented industrial company, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of occupational health and safety, appropriate experience in auditing occupational health and safety systems and processes
• Qualification in occupational health and safety and OH&S and auditing through externally recognized courses and diplomas, i.e. certified specialist for ISO 14000, ISO 45001 or auditor for ISO 19001
• Good computer skills and analytical mind
• Methodological knowledge, for example: moderation techniques, goal-focused meetings, presentation techniques, project management techniques
• High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure, willingness to take responsibility
• Organizational ability, assertiveness, teamwork, communication skills, flexibility, focus on goals and processes
• English language (written and fluent oral communication)
