Mission Overview:
As an Electrical & Electronics Expert, you serve as the final technical authority at the end of the assembly line. Your role is to ensure that every vehicle—whether Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Hybrid, or Electric (EV)—is electronically flawless before it leaves the factory.
Main Responsibilities:
Your daily operations revolve around high-level troubleshooting and quality assurance:
- Advanced Diagnostics: Perform deep-dive analysis on vehicles (stationary or in motion) that exhibit electronic defects post-assembly.
- Schematic Expertise: Read, interpret, and validate complex, multi-page wiring diagrams to map out system architectures.
- Electrical Testing: Use precision instruments to conduct continuity, insulation, and resistance measurements to pinpoint faulty wiring harnesses or terminal crimping errors.
- Network Analysis: Use data bus analyzers to troubleshoot communication failures between vehicle sub-systems.
- Technical Reporting: Translate complex technical failures into actionable reports for production teams and quality engineers to eliminate root causes upstream.
Required Technical Skills
- Automotive Architecture & Protocols
Deep understanding of modern vehicle communication networks is mandatory: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet
- Electrotechnics & Hardware
Expert Instrumentation: Professional use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized EOL test benches.
Signal Analysis: Ability to interpret pulse-width modulation (PWM) and digital signals to identify "noise" or interference.
- Diagnostic Software
Proficiency in industry-standard and manufacturer-specific tools: DiagBox, ODIS, or CANalyzer (and equivalent OEM software).
