Experienced Oracle Database Developer

Job description:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of programming experience, and strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and relational database systems. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for extending, optimizing, and maintaining components of a complex banking software solution. You will implement advanced requirements in PL/SQL, collaborate within an international Scrum team, and contribute to the lifecycle management of existing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Extend, optimize, and maintain multiple components of a large-scale financial software solution
• Implement complex requirements using PL/SQL
• Design technical concepts and specifications based on business requirements
• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional Scrum team
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and tests
• Contribute to lifecycle management and continuous improvement of existing solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of professional programming experience
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and solution engineering
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
• Oriented toward long-term cooperation and stability
• Banking domain knowledge, preferably in areas such as fees, tariffs, anti-money laundering, and forms is an advantage
• Familiarity with continuous integration toolsets is an advantage
• German language proficiency at B1 level or higher is a strong advantage
• Willingness to learn German and work in a German-speaking environment
• Knowledge of Java is beneficial but not required.
