About position:

Facility Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all building systems, technical installations, and facilityrelated processes. The role includes coordination with external service providers, ensuring legal compliance, implementing preventive maintenance activities and maintaining high operational standards for the entire site.

Your Responsibilities:

• Cooperation with external companies and technical experts in order to improve or resolve issues related to building technical installations and equipment
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers, preparing price comparison lists, and commissioning work
• Supervision of external service providers responsible for building cleaning
• Ensure mandatory use of work permits (hot work, confined space, work at height) and verify compliance with defined safety conditions
• Conduct and document periodic inspections, safety checks, and calibrations of safetycritical equipment
• Legal Compliance: Adhere to all regulations regarding occupational safety and health, fire protection, environmental protection, and handling of hazardous substances
• Safe Work & LOTO: Apply lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO) before working on equipment; strictly avoid improvised interventions
• Work Permits: Mandatory use of the work permit system (hot work, confined space, work at height) and compliance with defined conditions
• Inspections & Calibrations: Conduct and document regular inspections, checks, and calibrations of safety‑critical equipment
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report incidents, injuries, near‑misses, and hazardous situations; implement corrective and preventive actions 
• Records & Documentation Traceability: Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
• Training & Competence: Maintain valid certificates/authorizations; participate in periodic training sessions and knowledge assessments
• Environmental Protection: Proper handling of waste, chemicals, and emissions; prevent spills and pollution; ensure proper ecological incident response
• Creation of preventive maintenance plans for building equipment in SAP
• Daily use of BMS systems to monitor functionality and propose corrective actions in case of errors
• Monitoring the functionality of the Messdass energy‑consumption monitoring system and coordinating troubleshooting activities in case of failures

Your Profile:

• University degree in the field of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering 
• Desirable previous experience in maintenance department
• Knowledge of English language
