Field Service Specialist

Workforce has partnered with Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention services that protect people and vital resources, to support its expansion. We are looking for a motivated candidate to join their Food & Beverage Division in the position of:

Field Service Specialist 

Location: Serbia - North Serbia – Novi Sad, Belgrade

Job description: 

• Provide technical service on the customer site
• Ensuring plant performance and achievement of Total Cost of Operations (TCO) targets
• Building a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations, business objectives, and applicable government regulations
• Providing industry expertise in sanitation, safety, quality, and operations (assisting with sanitation plans and programs, SOPs, process evaluation, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, employee training)
• Managing Ecolab products and equipment - participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders
• Implementing corporate account commitments and updating the Contract Manager and District Manager F&B
• Communicating effectively with plant stakeholders and maintaining strong business relationships 
• Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in dairy, food, or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or technology
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of F&B processing/manufacturing industries or 2 years of experience in technical sales into manufacturing environments
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Valid driving license (category B)
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region 

Candidate’s profile:

• Knowledge of microbiology (preferred)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, results-oriented approach
• Customer-focused, with confidence in working with large national and multinational clients
• Ability to manage complexity and adapt to dynamic operational environments
• General mechanical ability
