Summary

The Finance Transformation Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing finance processes, systems, and data across the organization. The role will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of finance operations.

The Finance Transformation Specialist will also provide training, documentation, and change management support for the finance transformation initiatives. You will also provide guidance and best practices to stakeholders on how to leverage the capabilities of SAP 4/HANA for finance, such as real-time reporting, predictive analysis, and simplified processes and ensure the migration of SAP systems from legacy platforms to SAP 4/HANA. We’re offering an 18‑month contract.

Responsibilities

  • You lead and participate in finance process improvement and automation projects, such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, budgeting, and forecasting, etc.
  • You assess current finance processes, systems, and data, and identify gaps, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • You develop and document business requirements, process maps, data flows, and E2E test scenarios for finance solutions.
  • You collaborate with IT and 3rd parties to design, configure, test, and implement finance solutions that meet business needs and comply with policies and standards.
  • You provide training, communication, and change management support to finance and business users on finance solutions.
  • You monitor and evaluate the performance and benefits of finance solutions, and provide ongoing support and enhancements as needed.
  • You guarantee business continuity of the finance tools and platforms.
  • You stay updated on finance best practices, trends, and technologies, and propose enhancements and improvements to existing solutions.
  • You manage the migration of data and processes from legacy SAP systems to SAP 4/HANA for finance, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
  • You collaborate with other SAP consultants and experts to share knowledge and best practices, and to deliver integrated solutions across different modules and domains.
  • You troubleshoot and resolve any issues or risks that arise during the SAP to SAP 4/HANA migration process.
  • You provide technical support and guidance to the end-users and business users during and after the SAP to SAP 4/HANA migration.
  • You document the migration process and outcomes and conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on the features and benefits of SAP 4/HANA for finance, and how to use them effectively.

Your Profile

  • You have a strong knowledge of finance processes, systems, and data, and how they interact with each other.
  • You have previous experience in SAP ECC, SAP 4/HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform (required).
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in SAP finance, with a strong focus on SAP 4/HANA for finance.
  • You possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • You can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • You have good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You are certified in SAP 4/HANA for finance (preferred).
  • You are certified in SAP 4/HANA migration or SAP 4/HANA technology (would be a plus).
  • You have an open mind and are eager to learn.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
