Freight Consolidation Dispatcher (US Logistics Market)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Remote (Box Truck) Dispatcher to join our client's logistics team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Dry Van, Box Trucks, LTL freight, and partial loads, and understands the dynamics of the U.S. spot market. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments efficiently in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and manage box trucks for LTL and partial load shipments
• Book and negotiate loads on the spot market
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with drivers and brokers
• Monitor driver schedules, availability, and route efficiency
• Ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) and operational guidelines
• Verify broker and load legitimacy to prevent fraud
• Track shipments and resolve issues in real time
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, brokers, and internal teams

Requirements: 

• 2–3 years of proven experience as a Dispatcher
• Strong background in LTL and partial freight operations
• Solid understanding of the U.S. logistics and spot market
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Knowledge of HOS rules is a must
