Job title: Global Supply Chain Excellence Manager
Location: SCC Serbia (Čačak, hybrid)
Overview
The Global Supply Chain Excellence Manager is responsible for driving global end‑to‑end supply chain performance, harmonizing standards, and enabling the adoption of advanced technologies and methodologies — from traditional visibility tools to control towers, command centers, and future supply chain orchestration platforms.
The role strengthens global resilience, drives efficiency improvements, and creates the foundation for data‑driven, automated, and orchestrated decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Global Supply Chain Strategy & Excellence Programs
- Define, steer, and execute the global Supply Chain Excellence roadmap across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver.
- Develop and implement global standards, KPI frameworks, and benchmarking methodologies.
- Support global sites in performance improvement, continuous‑improvement programs, and global SCM reviews.
Data, Visibility & Analytics
- Establish a robust data and governance structure across all regions.
- Implement and evolve ABI platforms, advanced analytics, and KPI dashboards.
- Promote data‑driven decision‑making — from reporting to prescriptive analytics.
Control Towers, Command Centers & Digital Twins
- Build and implement function‑specific Supply Chain Control Towers (e.g., logistics, production, purchasing).
- Drive the transition toward Command Centers, including digital supply chain twin concepts and knowledge‑graph models.
- Ensure global transparency of inventories, capacities, risks, and delivery performance.
Future Technologies & Supply Chain Orchestration
- Identify and pilot emerging technologies such as:
- AI‑based decision support
- Generative AI / agentic AI
- Simulation & optimization engines
- Workflow automation
- Lay the foundation for a future Supply Chain Orchestration Platform (end‑to‑end decision automation).
Process Harmonization & Governance
- Lead global projects for supply chain process harmonization and digital transformation.
- Ensure global compliance with governance and operational standards.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, IT, Finance, Sales, and other functions.
Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership
- Collaborate with global SCM leaders, plant managers, logistics teams, IT, and external partners.
- Lead global workshops, training sessions, and capability‑building initiatives.
- Foster a global culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Professional
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 7–10 years of experience in global supply chain functions (Plan/Source/Make/Deliver).
- Strong understanding of:
- Supply chain digitalization
- BI/Analytics
- Control tower/command center concepts
- S&OP/IBP
- Lean & Operational Excellence
- Proven experience in global transformation and IT implementation projects.
Technical
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
- Experience with analytics platforms, data lakes, KPI frameworks, and dashboards.
- Bonus: Experience in building digital supply chain twins or AI‑driven tools
Personal
- Excellent communication skills and confident presence across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Leadership skills in global, cross‑functional, multicultural environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
