HARDWARE DEVELOPER

Basic responsibilities:

• Development of digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits in alignment with concept specifications, with full ownership from schematic to validated prototype;
• Design and creation of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts using EDA tools like Altium Designer or KiCad, including multilayer and impedance-controlled designs;
• Full ownership of the BMS development cycle including architecture, implementation, testing, and client-side commissioning;
• Building and commissioning hardware prototypes for feasibility studies and functional validation under real operating conditions;
• Performing electrical measurements and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and battery-specific test equipment;
• Close coordination with software engineering teams to synchronize hardware design with control logic and firmware requirements;
• Selection and evaluation of electronic components with focus on availability, lifetime, obsolescence risk, and cost targets;
• Supporting EMC, CE and product qualification testing in line with applicable standards and client requirements;
• Hands-on lab work including SMD/THT soldering, cable assembly, and hardware bring-up;
• Apply AI tools to support datasheet analysis, component selection, design review preparation, and technical documentation and contribute to establishing these practices within project workflows.

Required conditions and experience:

• Experience with Altium Designer or other PCB design software;
• Strong understanding of electronics principles, including analog and digital circuit design;
• Solid knowledge of multilayer PCB design;
• Experience with microcontrollers and circuit simulation (e.g., LTspice);
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field;
• Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience in hardware development;
• Structured and independent working style;
• Fluency in written and spoken English;
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for engineering tasks — component search, datasheet summarization, design documentation — and openness to integrating these pragmatically into daily workflows;
