Key Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct professional training for employees and verify their knowledge in the field of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Fire Protection
• Initiate and actively participate in drafting, implementation, and updating of internal policies, procedures, and regulations related to OHS, fire protection, and environmental protection
• Perform regular inspections of buildings and working areas to ensure compliance with prescribed fire protection measures, including preparation of inspection reports, corrective actions, and deadlines
• Organize installation, maintenance, and periodic inspections of fire extinguishers, fire protection equipment, and fire detection and alarm systems (manual and automatic)
• Prepare and submit proposals for the procurement of fire protection devices, equipment, and systems
• Cooperate with competent authorities and institutions on all matters related to fire prevention and occupational safety
• Coordinate external contractors and service providers, ensuring that all work is planned, executed, and reported in compliance with applicable legal regulations
• In case of fire, emergencies, or natural disasters, promptly respond on site and organize actions for fire extinguishing, rescue of people and property, and mitigation of consequences
• Maintain and manage records related to high-risk workplaces, employees assigned to such positions, OHS training records, occupational injuries, occupational diseases, and work-related illnesses
• Organize first aid training and medical examinations for forklift operators
• Notify the Labour Inspection Authority of serious, fatal, or collective workplace injuries, as well as work-related injuries resulting in temporary absence from work
• Coordinate, monitor, and ensure implementation of applicable environmental protection legislation
• Coordinate all material recycling and waste management activities
• Prepare waste transport documentation
• Monitor and ensure the proper operation of the wastewater treatment facility in cooperation with maintenance technicians
• Prepare mandatory reports for company management, state authorities, and relevant institutions

Qualifications & Requirements

•  College degree (VII/VI level) – technical field of study
• Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Protection, and Environmental Protection
• Successfully passed professional OHS examination
• Licence for Health and Safety Advisor
• Valid Fire Protection license
• Familiarity with biological wastewater treatment
• English language proficiency (mandatory)
• Computer literacy (mandatory)
• Valid B-category driving license
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable attitude
• High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Strong team spirit with the ability to work independently
• Relevant work experience of at least 5 years.
