HR Generalist
Location: Stara Pazova
The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract as a maternity leave replacement, with a potential for contract extension.
This position is intended for an experienced and well-organized HR Generalist who can independently manage HR and personnel administration processes in a manufacturing environment, in close cooperation with local management and HQ.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes (job postings, pre-screening, interviews, coordination with hiring managers)
- Organize onboarding activities and manage employee documentation (contracts, annexes, personnel files)
- Monitor employment contracts and deadlines for extensions or changes
- Manage attendance, absences, holidays, and sick leave in compliance with local regulations
- Prepare accurate timesheet data for payroll processing, including overtime, bonuses, incentives, and other variable pay
- Liaise with the external payroll provider and support employees with payslip-related questions
- Organize and manage employee transport for shift workers, including supplier coordination and invoice checks
- Support employee relations, monitor workplace climate, and assist in conflict resolution
- Coordinate training activities and HSE requirements in cooperation with external consultants
- Prepare HR reports and KPIs (absenteeism, overtime, headcount, labor costs, etc.)
- Liaise with external legal advisors, insurance providers, and relevant institutions
- Provide administrative and financial support within the scope of the role
Requirements
- University degree (preferably in Economics, Law, or Human Resources)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Good knowledge of labor law and personnel administration
- Experience with payroll data preparation and variable pay management
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with HR/time & attendance systems
- Good command of English (Italian is a plus)
