We are looking for:

Inspector of aircraft engine parts (m/f/d)

Inspector of engine parts who will perform visual inspection / evaluation of airworthiness and define of further usage of engine components inclusive documentation of results. In addition, Inspector of engine parts will check dimensions / compliance with parameters and perform minor repairs as well as initiate needed repairs.

Tasks

• Visual inspection and airworthiness assessment of flight engine components
• Visual inspection and suitability assessment of industrial gas turbine components
• Decision on further use of components that are not navigable / suitable
• Reading, understanding and transmitting instructions from OEMs, customers and process engineering
• Measurement and testing and documentation of results (EDP)
• Definition and initiation of necessary repairs
• Request for new operational maps
• Minor repairs (removal of heavy metal, marking)
• Performing checking operations on semi-finished and finished products
• Compliance with route and work table requirements
• Documentation of results
• Assessment and compliance with parameters and dimensions
• Initiating necessary repairs to tools and measuring equipment
• Recording and handling of deviations and complaints
• Supervision of operator self-examination

Requirements

• High School diploma - Technical background / mechanics / mechatronics
• Experience as an aero engine or aircraft mechanic
• Basic PC skills, but higher affinity to work with computers
• High perception and very good eye-sight
• Team-work and ability to work in 2 shifts
• Ability to assume responsibility, independence in work and solid analytical skills
• English language
