PNT-Studio is seeking a design-focused, detail-minded and technically skilled senior interior designer to join our team

The successful candidate will work on a range of projects across schematic design, detail design, IFT and IFC phases, mainly residential project types, all scales from sketch design to documentation.

PNT-Studio seeks to create projects that are generous, challenging, exemplary, public in spirit, and undertaken with an economy of means. Current work spans residential, multi-residential, public and hospitality typologies.

Job description/Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for producing interior design working drawings through following stages CD, SD, DD and IFT/IFC. This includes all general plans (wall/floor finishes, ceiling layouts, RCP, SPL, section and elevation, all detail drawings including joinery packages, millworks, door schedules, all required specification, FF&E, etc.
• Maintain/organize project files, schedules, and specifications.
• Work with entire team, in office and with outside consultants.
• Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• To understand the design project
• To prepare, and develop with the team where required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design
• To co-ordinate the internal design team for the project
• To take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Manager or Partner in charge for key project stages
• To contribute, or otherwise assist, as required

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience.
• Master’s degree in architecture
• Strong presentation graphics, as well as Photoshop presentations.
• Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities
• Able to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Able to take initiative in response to direction or instruction
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
• Flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, lifelong learning
• Able to manage and prioritize tasks and time efficiently
• Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
• Able demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
• Willingness to listen and learn from all members of the team
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Able to use the following software.

Advanced Level:

• AutoCAD or Revit, Photoshop

Intermediate Level:

• Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
