IT Infrastructure Support Intern

Job Description

Support the operations, maintenance and resolution of server-related incidents (Windows / Linux) by following defined procedures
Support the operation and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Servers, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
Contribute to automation and scripting operational tasks
Assist with network-related topics such as basic network diagnostic, firewall rules, etc.
Support IT security activities
Support the setup, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and architecture
Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the team and learn server management best practices
Document issues, solutions and system configuration

Qualifications

Enrolled student in Computer Science, IT Security, Information Systems or a related field
Basic to solid understanding of Windows / Linux operating systems
Basic to solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Basic to solid understanding of Azure / Databricks cloud environmen
Interest in IT infrastructure, networking
Analytical mindset and structured approach to troubleshooting
Basic understanding of networking concepts
Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus
Interest in security topics such as vulnerability management is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Languages: Fluent verbal and written communication in English. German is a plus.
