Job requirements

Experience

• At least 3+ years' experience in IT support roles, IT product/software/service sales or marketing.

• Good overall understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
• Resourcefulness in problem solving.
• Analytical and team-working skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to guide users with no technical experience/education to the solution of technical issues.
• Proactive in recognizing and suggesting improvements where IT can bring efficiency into everyday work.
• Excellent command of English language (verbal and written).
• Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft based software/work environment.

Key roles and responsibilities

• First line response to IT related requests from across the company.
• Following up to realization of support request in timely manner.
• Helping non-technical employees to solve the issues and provide know-how in use of IT systems and applications, in person and remotely.
• Maintenance and administration of IT equipment and systems.
• Commission/decommission of user IT equipment (laptops, tablets, smartphones).
• Installation/configuration of client-side equipment, operating systems, and software.
• Administration of IT inventories.
• Participation in the IT equipment procurement.
• Participation in onboarding, offboarding, and generally, training of employees for the use of new IT solutions.
