The Role

We're looking for a Junior Back-end Developer to join our growing Serbia team. Whether you're a developer ready to level up your career or a recent graduate with solid Go fundamentals, we want to hear from you. You'll work alongside experienced engineers building scalable, secure, and maintainable services that power our platform.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Go packages, services, and APIs that are scalable, well-documented, and reliable
• Build backend components and integrate with external web services and banking APIs
• Write clean, tested code following best practices and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize application performance
• Work with Docker containers for consistent deployments
• Collaborate with the team on architecture decisions and technical documentation
• Contribute to API development for enterprise-grade finance customers
• Learn and explore new technologies to continuously enhance our platform

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

• Preferably at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Go (Golang) or strong fundamentals with demonstrable projects
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocol and API design
• Familiarity with version control using Git
• Strong technical English skills (written and conversational)
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS)
• Experience with testing frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
