DPM Metals Inc. is a Canadian-based international gold mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, mining and processing of precious metals properties. DPM operates across Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ecuador, with headquarters in Toronto, Canada.

For the needs of our Exploration department in Bor, we are currently looking to recruit a candidate for the Junior Geologist position. This advertisement is open to any level of experience, from recent graduates to those with knowledge and experience in the exploration industry. Role Purpose:

To effectively support the exploration group in performing exploration activities to discover economically significant Au (Cu) mineralization using focused and effective, state-of-the-art exploration techniques. To ensure safe, cost effective, and environmentally and socially responsible conditions for all exploration and project development activities within Company policies and procedures.

Description of responsibilities:

• Learn and understand one's role and responsibility while working with superior.
• Undertake an on-the-job training program, guided by a senior level geologist, gaining exposure to geochemistry (stream, soil, rock sampling), geological mapping, geological logging of drill cores, lining up of drill rigs, geophysics, development of geological interpretation.
• Receives training in the office and field.
• Assists with and carries out the collection and supervise of field data, survey data, and samples.
• Gathers and correlates basic data.
• Prepares plans, designs, plots, calculations and drawings.
• Assists in interpretation of data and preparation of reports and presentations.
• Performs routine geological research and field inspections.
• Adheres to all HSE practices and procedures and ensures that other members of the exploration team do the same.

Requirements:

As a minimum, applicants should have a degree in geology or a geoscience related degree. An enthusiasm for geology, a passion for working outdoors regardless of weather, and a desire to work and learn as part of a team will be a benefit. Previous experience in gold and/or copper exploration will be highly regarded.

Knowledge:

• Sampling and field work experience, exploration and drilling experience.

Technical Skills:

• Use of GPS, compass and preparation of the geological map.
• Competent in MS Office: Word, Excel.
• Analytical thinking, communication, initiative, energy, listening, practical learning, self-confidence, teamwork, tenacity.

Education/Qualifications/Certificates:

• Minimum of a BSc. In a geoscience-related discipline (e.g. geology, geochemistry, geophysics).
• B Driving license and preferred 4WD experience.

Experience:

• 0 – 2 years geology exploration or mining experience.
