Laboratory officer/technician

CRBC also participated in the construction of the railway connecting Belgrade-Budapest (Serbian side).

One of the major infrastructure projects executed by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) is the construction of the Fruška Gora Corridor. Launched in May 2021, this project envisions a modern expressway connecting Novi Sad and Ruma. The corridor will include two tunnels (Iriški Venac and Širine), 46 bridges, 10 overpasses, and 14 grade-separated interchanges, making it one of the most complex and significant road developments in the region. 

We are looking for: Laboratory officer/technician (Quality department)

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize the work of an accredited laboratory that performs testing and control of the material (concrete) for construction site needs.
• Testing of component materials for concrete production (aggregate, cement, water, …).
• Sampling of fresh concrete.
• Perform the concrete sampling testing.
• Preparation of concrete mix design (includes preparing the report).
• Collects and archives the documentation on the quality of concrete and concrete Mix design.
• Control of concrete production.
• Organize calibration of laboratory equipment on time.
• Analyse the results of laboratory testing.
• Keep the record of concrete testing, and prepare the report.
• Complete other tasks required by his superiors.

Special requirements:

• Previous experience is required. 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Final-year student or Bachelor‘s degree from the Technical Faculty or similar.
• Understanding of engineering technologies, construction procedures, and materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good command of the English language.
