Manager Product Development (Maternity cover approximately 18 months)

Location: Belgrade

You will drive and lead the development of new and existing services and products. You will observe and understand all relevant technological trends and developments and deducts profitable long-term service and product business opportunities that go beyond the actual business portfolio and its practices. You will lead and develop the product development team. You will coordinate and lead, with your team, all innovation and product development projects of Training Services. Furthermore, the Manager Product Development will initiate and manage the partnerships with our BU’s as well as external organizations such as universities, R&D institutions, funded development programs, suppliers and/or customers. You will play a key role in driving and contributing to the change within the TS organization by initiating new training products and ways of training.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead product development team, schedule and monitor product work and review results for timeliness, accuracy, and quality of product delivery
• Lead and oversee product development projects to drive customer satisfaction, business impact, and value creation
• Manage key customer and partner relationships to ensure business continuity, growth, and alignment with product expectations
• Identify technology trends and translate them into innovative products and services
• Drive product strategy and manage the innovation pipeline through the Go-to-Market process
• Develop business cases and present product initiatives to senior leadership
• Continuously improve and expand the product portfolio while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and aviation authority requirements

Your profile:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in product and/or project development, supported by a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a Technical field (additional education in Market Analysis and/or Product Development is a plus)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, motivate, and empower people
• Creative and innovative mindset, able to generate new ideas, develop products or designs, and propose multiple solutions to problems
• Excellent communication skills, with adaptability across different people, cultures, and situations; strong presentation, negotiation, and customer-facing experience
• Solid planning and organizational abilities, including setting clear objectives, managing projects, and identifying required resources
• Proactive and positive attitude, with an understanding of cross-cultural differences and customer behavior
• Proficient in English
