Specific duties (Key Performance Indicators): 

  • Planning and Arranging 
  • Providing assistance in reviewing scope, processes, costs, and budgeting 
  • Preparing work schedules and controlling the use of materials, equipment, and machines 
  • Preparing draft documents and presentations; applications and compiling documents for government submission/ building inspections 
  • Controlling the procurement of the equipment for the project and cooperating with relevant persons from the planning stage to the construction stage while leading project execution 
  • Implementing and supporting plans; collaborating with external equipment planning offices and cooperating firms 
  • Monitoring quality control and record keeping 
  • Developing projects for the technology of performing mechanical work (welding, installation, etc.) on the construction of facilities  
  • On-Site 
  • Executing of mechanical installations and installation of automatic control equipment at the previously mentioned facilities, installations, and systems 
  • Managing and controlling MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) works on the construction site with safety and regulatory standards 
  • Taking into account the phase plans, mutual relations of the MEP system, rearrangement of construction, and schedule of projects 
  • Directing, monitoring, and controlling the activities of MEP contractors to ensure compliance with project safety regulations  
  • Maintaining detailed documentation 
  • Cooperating with internal and external staff, and scrupulously observing milestones as construction progresses 
  • Review the basic/execution drawings and improve them 

Responsibilities (Key Result Areas): 

  • Thorough knowledge & practice of all legal regulations and safety rules at the construction site  
  • Timely reporting of activities to the immediate supervisor 
  • Implementation of additional activities and tasks ordered by the supervisor 
  • Cooperating with relevant departments and carrying out day-to-day quality control and construction management 
  • Providing support to colleagues regarding on-site processes 
  • Communication and cooperation with other colleagues 
  • Lead all Subcontractor's activities based on internal decision 

Work experience requirements 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the same or similar positions 
  • Demonstrable experience in a heavy or medium industry construction project 

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering 
  • Certified Mechanical Engineer (CME) - valid license  obtained from the Serbian Chamber of Engineering 

Additional requirements

  • High level of knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts 
  • High knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction and the Building Control Act  
  • Fluency in English language (C1) 
  • Highly developed computer skills (MS Office, MS Project & AutoCAD) 
  • Active driving license (B category) 
  • Available recommendations/references from former employer
