Mechanical & Quality Engineer

ESM is a small, but fast-growing, internationally oriented metal serial manufacturing company, and we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to help streamline and manage quality alongside our existing team.

We are a manufacturing company for strut support products and provide both private and white label for HVAC, M&E and Data Centre industries to various Multinationals and Customers located in Europe.

You will serve as the first point of contact for client and supplier quality matters, ensuring clear communication and offering advice, design, testing, and innovation for Support solutions, with the responsibility for delivering quality products.

What is quality manufacturing engineering?

Quality Engineering encompasses all activities related to the analysis of a product's design, development and manufacturing processes for the purpose of improving the quality of the product and the production process while identifying and reducing waste in its many forms.

Job Description:

• Communicating about (Strut) Support solutions with existing and new clients;
• Maintaining and implementing (existing) quality standards and controls systems;
• With the focus being put on welding standards.
• Being responsible for product complains, investigating the root cause and replying with corrective actions;
• Responsible for archiving, filing and preparing an entire new database of technical information of existing and new customers;
• Creating or inserting in existing technical documentation quality parameters;
• Reporting by collecting, analysing and summarizing data, and making recommendations;
• Being responsible for new requests, sample approvals, and test releases.

Additional (not mandatory):

• Calculations and price changes of finished products and creation of offers for clients;
• Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production machines and tooling;
• Participation in defining and proposing technical solutions, supervision and participation in the development of manufacturing processes;
• Reducing waste and costs.

Requested Job Skills and Qualities:

• Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering (or requested knowledge obtained through experience);
• Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes;
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel;
• Active knowledge of the English language;
• At least three years of experience in mechanical engineering;
• Good knowledge of ISO and quality standards;
• Good analytical ability along with the characteristic of working precisely;
• Preferable: Candidates with experience in HVAC and M&E field;
• Preferable: Active work in drawing program, for example AutoCAD, Solidworks or Inventor Professional.
