About this role:
We are looking for a motivated and responsible Production Planner for new and series products to join our team in the Assembly department. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have a passion for planning, coordinating production processes, and collaborating across teams, this is the right opportunity for you.
Your Profile:
- Minimum High School Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or another technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Extensive experience working with SAP
- Experience with MES systems is a plus
- Familiarity with LEAN tools (3F, 5S, TPM, FIFO etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of English
Your Responsibilities:
- Convert production plans into raw material and component needs (MRP planning)
- Create purchase orders to suppliers in line with deadlines and requirements
- Ensure timely material deliveries to support production
- Optimize material flow while considering inventory targets and storage capacity
- Maintain stock levels and avoid excess or obsolete materials
- Prepare and monitor quarterly, monthly, and weekly production plans
- Align production planning with sales forecasts and market trends
- Monitor stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products
- Adjust production plans based on process changes
- Plan optimal use of production capacities
- Generate and analyze weekly/monthly production reports (Planned vs. Actual)
- Monitor and define optimal batch sizes in production
- Maintain and update SAP master data related to production planning
- Act as end user for the MES/Hydra software system
