Electronic Instruments - a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of advanced analytical, test and measurement instrumentation for the energy, aerospace, power, research, medical and industrial markets.

Electromechanical - a differentiated supplier of automation and precision motion control solutions, and highly engineered electrical interconnects, specialty metals and thermal management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quarterly SOX compliance activities, including documentation, testing, and reporting for relevant controls
• Sales and margin analysis to include weekly and monthly reporting
• Review margin trends and highlight significant fluctuations to budget and forecast
• Provide product line, customer, etc profitability analysis
• Work with Operations to determine an appropriate Manufacturing Variance forecast and report significant variances to management
• Support Operations by creating/maintaining dashboards, metrics, and other relevant reporting
• Analyze trend data in key performance indicators including Revenue, cost of sales, gross profit margin, expenses and working capital
• Communicate findings and areas for improvement to senior management across the business unit.
• Maintain and review sales order backlog and reports
• ESGA reporting – cost center variance reporting & DPO, DSO, entitlement reporting
• Oversee and manage continued development of modeling tools for budgeting, financial forecasting, operational planning using best practices
• Create/Maintain documentation of the procedures performed
• Brainstorm and help implement cost reductions/process improvements, etc.
• Assist with month end closing and preparation of monthly financial statements
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Ensure corporate/divisional policies and procedures are followed
• Prepare ad hoc reports/analysis and communicate cross functionally

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering or Business Administration
• 3-5 years’ experience
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
• Exposure to ASC606
• Fluent in English
• Demonstrated interest and practical ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work while applying good judgment and responsible use
• Comfortable learning and adopting new AI-enabled ways of working and proactively identifying opportunities where AI can drive meaningful impact in daily activities
