Operations Manager

We are looking for a dedicated candidate for the position of Operations Manager for the services in US transportation market.

As an Operations Manager, you will be in charge of leading the organization and coordination of the entire team, which includes playing an integral role in strengthening our team, bringing the energy, grit, and work ethic necessary to get the job done.

Your profile:

• You must have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position - it is an advantage if you have experience in transportation/logistics, good understanding of shipping, logistics and equipment, DOT standards and compliance,
• You know how to prioritise tasks, to get your point across,
• You have excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written,
• You are ready to learn, improve your skills and knowledge,
• You are willing to accept shift work due to the time difference with North America.

What would be some of your responsibilities:

• Communication with all departments in order to be sure that everything was done properly,
• Monitoring and supervising the performance of tasks, as well as assisting in their execution according to the rules,
• Monitoring of available trucks for drivers and registration process, market trends, competition offers,
• Supporting hiring team, boarding new team members, and assist in training,
• Making business improvement plans and implementing all interventions,
• Find ways to increase quality of work, raise safety score, hire new drivers and expand our team,
• Proposing innovations that will contribute to business development and more effective employment of drivers, new ideas and introducing innovations,
• Sending a report on the effectiveness of the work of the departments.
