Operations Manager

For our team, we are looking for a new colleague to join us as our: Operations Manager (m/f)

If you join us these will be your main tasks and responsibilities:

• establishing, maintaining and managing the distribution network and its quality
• selecting new and evaluating existing subcontractors
• managing the Operations Department and the Central Sorting Centre (HUB)
• managing the Quality and Customer Service
• strategic planning of department activities and providing the necessary support
• continuous monitoring of key processes, initiation of preventive and corrective actions
• participation in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasting and analysing operating costs and capital expenditures (OPEX; CAPEX)
• optimization of existing business processes and development of new ones with the accompanying documentation

What we expect from you:

• at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, as well as experience in a management position
• knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 is advantage
• good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• that you are familiar with the postal services industry, parcel distribution principles and customs procedures
• strong leadership and management skills
• that you are proactive and detail-oriented with analytical approach to your tasks  
• that you are very good in English (B2 level or higher)
• since the nature of our business is dynamic, we need you to be able to multitask and prioritize your duties
• driving licence (B category)
