Role Purpose
The Organizational Alignment Manager plays a central role in the Shared Competence Center (SCC) by ensuring clarity, structure, and effective collaboration across IT and non‑IT domains in a complex global matrix. The role acts as a strategic advisor and execution partner to the Group SCC Owner – VP, driving alignment between local leadership and global functional owners, operationalizing governance, and enabling smooth, transparent decision‑making — without formal line authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment & VP Support
- Translate VP direction into clear frameworks, priorities, and communication flows; prepare decision-ready materials (analysis, scenarios, recommendations).
- Serve as a central coordination point between local Serbian managers and global functional leaders.
- Cross-Functional Facilitation
- Moderate complex discussions and workshops across IT/non‑IT; align expectations, roles, and outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams through influence (no direct authority), keeping momentum and accountability.
- Organizational Health & Process Improvement
- Identify friction points (unclear ownership, bottlenecks, duplicate work) and drive lightweight improvements.
- Conduct root‑cause analyses; frame issues and options; recommend decisions and escalate when needed.
- Transparency & Communication
- Ensure clarity in responsibilities, reporting lines, and operating models across SCC.
- Produce facilitation summaries, alignment notes, and stakeholder updates with structured, simple narratives.
Key Deliverables (First 12 Months)
- Operational SCCgovernance model (structure, cadence, documentation standards).
- Standardized alignment workflow for cross-functional initiatives (templates, reporting).
- Stabilized IT/non‑IT collaboration measured through stakeholder feedback and reduction in conflict signals.
Success Metrics
- Improved stakeholder satisfaction/alignment scores (baseline vs. target).
- On‑time delivery and quality ratings of governance artifacts (decision papers, alignment notes).
- Reduced escalations and quicker resolution times across SCC leadership interactions.
- Documented clarity in roles, responsibilities, and operating model.
- Lead‑time reduction on cross‑functional approvals; higher action‑closure rates.

- Group SCC Owner – VP (primary sponsor and escalation point)
- SCC Leadership Teams (local and global)
- Local Serbian functional managers (IT & non‑IT)
- Global functional leaders (IT, Engineering, Sales, Procurement, BU Management)
- HR, Organizational Development, Group Governance/PMO/Business Excellence
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree preferred (Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration/Management, Economics, or related fields).
- Experience:
- Several years in global/matrix organizations.
- Proven track record in strategy execution, organizational governance, or Chief‑of‑Staff–type roles.
- Facilitating cross‑functional initiatives and leading without formal authority.
- Moderating sensitive discussions, resolving misalignment, and supporting conflict navigation.
- Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.

- Systems thinking & structured problem‑solving (issue framing, decision options, risks).
- Change management in matrix settings; resilience and neutrality under pressure.
