We are looking for a Payments Manager to support the development and stability of the payment infrastructure for our client’s business in Serbia.
Responsibilities:
Integrations and payment providers
- Maintain and develop integrations with existing payment systems (Monri, AltaPay, Tenfore, A-Voucher, Transaks, Payspot)
- Onboard new PSPs and APMs (alternative payment methods)
- Communicate with payment providers and internal teams on technical, financial, and operational matters
- Participate in testing integrations and releasing payment solutions
- Work with development and integration teams
Define and assign tasks for payment method integrations
- Align API documentation and technical requirements with payment providers
- Ensure correct implementation of payment flows
- Participate in troubleshooting incidents, transaction errors, and technical failures
Payment operations
- Oversee payment operators and assist with complex cases together with the manager, AML, Legal, and Compliance teams
- Monitor key payment metrics (approval rate, decline rate, reasons for decline, etc.)
- Propose and test hypotheses to improve payment conversion
Finance and partnerships
- Negotiate transaction fees and commercial terms with payment providers
- Optimize transaction costs
- Monitor provider SLA and financial conditions
Payment marketing
- Prepare and launch joint promotional campaigns with payment providers
- Analyze the performance of payment-related campaigns
Requirements:
- Experience working with online payments, PSP integrations, or fintech/payment infrastructure
- Experience managing the end-to-end process of onboarding payment providers
- Understanding of online payment architecture (PSP, acquirers, card networks, payment flows)
- Experience working with engineering teams on API integrations and technical requirements
- Ability to analyze payment metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Understanding of fraud risks, chargebacks, and high-risk payment processing
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
