About your Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, including taxes, contributions, and other employee-related payments. The role involves maintaining payroll documentation, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and providing support to employees regarding payroll matters.
Key Accountabilities and activities
- Perform monthly payroll calculations based on data received from the HR department
- Process all payments related to employee compensation, including taxes, social security contributions, and other benefits
- Manage payroll-related accounting for sick leave, paid and unpaid absences
- Ensure payroll calculations and salary payments are accurate, timely, and compliant with local legislation and company policies
- Maintain, archive, and manage payroll-related financial documentation
- Prepare and deliver regular payroll reports to management
- Contribute to the development and improvement of payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries
- Coordinate payroll activities to ensure full compliance with applicable labor and tax regulations.
About you
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or have completed at least four years of secondary education
- You have 3+ years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role
- You have a good understanding of payroll processes, taxes, and contributions
- You have experience working with Navision ERP, which is considered an advantage
- You have advanced knowledge of MS Excel and the MS Office suite
- You handle confidential information with a high level of responsibility and professionalism
- You demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
- You have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines accurately and on time
- You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and can explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way
