Procurement Planner

Job Description: 

1. Responsible for planning and executing the procurement of production materials, project materials, and various auxiliary materials to ensure continuous and stable production operations.
2. Based on production plans, order requirements, and sales forecasts, performs MRP (Material Requirements Planning) calculations and develops accurate and reasonable material requirement plans to meet production scheduling needs.
3. Issues purchase orders in a timely manner, releases rolling demand forecasts, and follows up on suppliers’ capacity and delivery capabilities to ensure alignment with production pace.
4. Tracks material delivery progress throughout the entire process, promptly resolves issues such as delivery delays, quality problems, or insufficient supplier capacity, and implements corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
5. Develops and implements inventory control strategies, including setting safety stock levels, reorder points, and minimum/maximum inventory levels, while strictly controlling inventory in line with company and group requirements.
6. Analyzes and manages obsolete, slow-moving, and scrapped materials; monitors product lifecycle (EOP – End of Product); prevents excess inventory at the source, optimizes inventory structure, and reduces capital tied up in stock.
7. Responsible for daily supplier management, evaluation, and supply risk identification; proactively identifies critical and bottleneck materials and develops response plans.
8. Strengthens coordination with production planning, quality, warehousing, and engineering departments to quickly respond to production plan changes, process modifications, and quality issues affecting material delivery, ensuring smooth production flow.
9. Handles monthly reconciliation with suppliers, verifies delivered quantities, specifications, and amounts, ensures consistency between physical goods and records, and follows up on invoices to complete the accounting process.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (minimum Level VII) in any field (preferably Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Engineering, or related)
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or production planning
• Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems is required
• Language skills: Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Core competencies: Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
