Product Manager Trading Goods (German speaking)

If so, join us as a Product Manager Trading Goods in our Global Business Centre in Niš and play a key role in shaping and managing our global portfolio of third-party branded luminaires. In this position, you will be responsible for driving product strategy, supplier partnerships, and portfolio profitability while supporting our Lighting Division in delivering complete, high-quality lighting solutions aligned with our growth and sustainability strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the selection, creation, enhancement, and lifecycle management of a global Trading Goods portfolio (indoor and outdoor luminaires).
• Identify market opportunities and risks; define product strategy and roadmap in alignment with sales, brand, and business objectives.
• Scout, qualify, and validate suppliers; manage ongoing supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality and business standards.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and R&D teams to support product launches, validations, and portfolio updates.
• Maintain and continuously update the e-catalog to enable efficient product selection and ordering by sales teams.
• Monitor portfolio performance, analyze market and competitor trends, and drive data-based decisions for product and supplier development.
• Support sales activities through product positioning, marketing plans, and product training.
• Manage the P&L of the assigned product line, ensuring profitability and achievement of growth targets.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in product management, ideally within the lighting, electrical, or related industries.
• Experience in managing product portfolios, supplier relationships, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical skills, and a ability to understand market and customer requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems and digital catalog management would be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, matrixed environment.
• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in German and English.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally when required.
