Project Manager

MV Engineering GmbH is located in Germany, Borgschenweg 60 - 68, 47239 Duisburg and is a sister company of the MIND Group based in MIND Park, Kragujevac.

We are experts in rail vehicles, particularly in insulation, bonding, and profile processing. We are also active in aluminum and steel processing (CNC machining and welding) as well as in the field of fire protection solutions.

Over the past few years, our company has continuously developed its structures and, thanks to a strong focus on service and quality, as well as a very positive order situation, has succeeded in increasing the number of employees to currently more than 170 colleagues.

Due to the expansion of our production sector, we are currently looking to fill the following position:

PROJECT MANAGER

Job Purpose:

To lead the end-to-end planning and execution of operating customer projects and specific initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and according to defined quality standards. The role serves as the central point of accountability for balancing technical requirements, resource allocation and stakeholder communication from the final offer to final delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning, coordinating, and managing customer projects in the rail vehicle sector,
• Coordinating production steps in manufacturing (sheet metal and C-profile processing, welding components, and production of fixtures and tools),
• Aligning project documentation with internal departments, our sister company, and customers, ensuring smooth project execution,
• Identifying requirements, allocating raw materials, and managing urgent service and spare-part orders with short delivery times,
• Preparing offers and cost calculations, reviewing orders and contracts, and clarifying open issues with customers,
• Managing cross-departmental interfaces to ensure close cooperation between production, work preparation, procurement, quality management and customers,
• Maintaining professional and confident communication with customers while demonstrating strong organizational skills and a high sense of responsibility.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology, or related technical field,
• Preferably experience in welding, particularly with aluminum materials,
• Several years of experience in project management or industrial order processing,
• Alternatively, completed technical or commercial-technical education (e.g., industrial clerk, technical project assistant, or a similar qualification) combined with several years of professional experience in project coordination or project management,
• Strong organizational skills, sales affinity, a high sense of responsibility, and a confident approach in dealing with customers,
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain an overview even in projects with critical deadlines,
• Confident use of MS Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Navision) is an advantage,
• Proficiency in English; German is an advantage.
