About position:

As a PVD Segment Leader, you will play a key role in establishing and developing a new PVD process within our production. You will be responsible for process stability, coating quality, and equipment performance while building and leading a specialized team. Working closely with technology and engineering, you will drive process optimization, scale-up, and the introduction of new PVD products.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the PVD production area, ensuring stable processes, high coating quality, and efficient output
• Manage and motivate a specialized team, fostering a strong team culture and coaching mindset
• Monitor production costs, identify savings, and drive cost optimization
• Ensure equipment availability, process stability, and continuous technical improvement
• Cooperate closely with technology, quality, OPEX, logistics, and other production teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements

Your profile:

• Several years of technical experience, ideally in surface coating or thin-film technologies (PVD/CVD)
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Fluent in English
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
• Technical or scientific education
