QA Tester

As a QA Tester, you will work alongside a talented team across Tech, DevOps, and Product Management to design, architect, and test exciting new features for our state-of-the-art payment product. In this high-growth startup environment, you’ll be a driver of clarity. You will play a key role in shaping our testing standards, proactively collaborating with colleagues to refine requirements and ensure high-quality delivery as features evolve.  

What You’ll Do:

• Shape the Product: Take an active part in defining final requirements alongside Developers and the Product team.
• Lead Quality Assurance: Drive testing efforts for complex, high-impact features from initial requirement analysis through to production release.
• Strategic Planning: Prepare comprehensive test plans for both manual and automated testing.
• End-to-End Testing: Perform smoke, feature, and regression testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality test documentation to ensure long-term stability and clarity.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in the team's Agile ceremonies.

Who You Are:

• An Experienced Quality Advocate: You bring at least 3 years of professional experience, with a deep-rooted understanding of software testing principles.
• A Precision Specialist: You have a "pixel-perfect" eye and an obsession with detail, ensuring that our UI and UX meet the highest standards of excellence.
• A Versatile Tester: You are equally comfortable navigating the complexities of both web and mobile application environments.
• An Automation Enthusiast: While manual testing is your foundation, you have the ability (or a strong desire) to write automated tests to increase efficiency.
• Technically Curious: You aren't afraid to look under the hood; you have experience with API testing and a working knowledge of SQL to verify data at the source.
• A Strategic Thinker: You don't just follow test cases—you investigate, ask the right questions, and help refine requirements before a single line of code is written.
• An Effective Communicator: You are fluent in English and can clearly articulate technical bugs and quality risks to both developers and product owners.
