QA Tester

Yettel Bank is looking for QA Test Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for quality assurance and release of functionality for a mission critical suite of applications.

IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE WITHIN THIS ROLE:

• Communicate test requirements in terms of user stories, acceptance criteria, test conditions, charters and, if necessary, test plans and specifications
• Work to maintain and expand the test framework
  Monitor test coverage and obtain feedback on testing with the Business Owner to ensure the desired coverage level is being obtained
• Participate in preparation of quality assessments, reports, and metrics formulating go-no go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status
• Present test improvements and developments in daily progress meetings
• Execution of planned test cases, ensuring that all test results are correctly recorded against the system
• Develop detailed work plans for engagements, status tracking and reporting, and production of high quality deliverables for clients
• Experience in test planning and strategies Strive to achieve performance review goals as agreed
• Contribute to innovation, maintenance and extension of testing processes, tools and technologies

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL (preferred)
• Experience with API testing, performance testing, and load testing (preferred)
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar ticketing systems
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
• Experience with various types of testing, including regression, exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing
• Proficiency in writing test cases
• Experience working with different development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, etc.)
• Good command of the English language
