Quality and Environmental System Specialist

We are looking for QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM SPECIALIST to join our team in Niš, Serbia.

General purpose of the job:

To assist the Quality Director in carrying out the activities of the Quality Department in relation to the management of the quality and environmental systems.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain the PCN database;
• Provide assistance in the implementation of the department's activities related to the maintenance and updating of quality and environmental management systems;
• Participate in the identification and evaluation of environmental aspects;
• Perform internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan;
• Participate in external audits within his / her competence;
• Conduct trainings according to the annual training plan and other stated needs;
• Participate in IATF 16949 and ISO14001 control audits;
• Liaise with external organizations or groups on issues relating to the management of quality and environmental systems;
• Support the WEB documentation system within his / her competence;
• Answer REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization & Restriction of Chemicals) questions;
• Know and strictly observe the Rules on ensuring healthy and safe working conditions;
• Manage the IMDS database with registration of IMI products and contacting suppliers for material registrations;
• Perform his / her duties in accordance with the Quality and Environmental Policy, long-term and short-term goals of the company.

Required personal and professional skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field;
• Experience working with online databases; knowledge of quality and environmental management systems is an advantage;
• English language proficiency (minimum intermediate level);
• Proficiency in Internet tools and MS Office; experience in creating and editing web-based documentation is an advantage;
• Strong administrative skills;
• Excellent communication skills, both written (e-mail) and verbal (phone and in-person);
• Ability to work effectively in an international business environment and adapt quickly to changing circumstances;
• Knowledge of quality and environmental management systems, quality management methods, and environmental protection practices;
• Strong decision-making;
• Ability to work in team.
