Quality Control Officer

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and cable schedules.
• IEC/BS/SRPS electrical installation standards awareness.
• Experience with MS Office, electronic Document Management Systems and basic understanding of AutoCAD drawing formats.
• Knowledge of test equipment: insulation resistance testers, loop impedance testers, and continuity test equipment.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Serbian language (spoken/written) and familiarity with Serbian regulations / local approval & compliance processes.
• Minimum 4 years of site-based quality control inspection on ELV or LV construction projects.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• CSWIP or equivalent electrical inspection certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Hold Point (HP) and Witness Point (WP) inspections for ELV systems (BMS, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling) and LV installations (cable containment, cable installation, switchgear, terminations, earthing, protection).
• Accurately complete ITP inspection records, referencing drawings, material batch/serial numbers, and actual test results.
• Notify Client/Consultant Inspectors in advance of upcoming Hold Points; coordinate with QA/QC Manager and engineers for witness attendance.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations from approved drawings, specifications, or method statements, documenting all relevant details and evidence. Follow up on corrective actions before recommending closure.
• Verify material compliance at installation, ensuring valid CE marks, Declarations of Performance (DoP), or manufacturer certificates; reject non-compliant materials and notify relevant managers.
• Support Client/Consultant inspections, facilitate site access, cosign inspection records, and report outcomes in the ITP register.
• Prepare and submit daily inspection reports with completed inspections, NCRs issued, and pending ITP points, including photographic records as required.
