We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven QUALITY MANAGER to join our IMI team.

About the Role

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best-practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to support and improve operational performance. Support new business initiatives by participating in project reviews and communicating the impact on quality-related activities. Promote quality awareness and a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Report to management on achieved quality levels, progress, and any identified gaps or deficiencies.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain all relevant procedures defined in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure full compliance with external standards and the Global QMS database.
  • Collect and analyze data, and organize quarterly Management Review meetings with the leadership team.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing Quality Operations team to achieve agreed objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage customer complaints by leading containment actions, conducting structured root cause analysis, and implementing short- and long-term corrective measures.
  • Drive and sustain a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Ensure all systems and procedures are in place to meet customer and audits requirements.
  • Deliver training on quality systems, standards, and procedures.
  • Participate in daily Plant QRQC meetings, report KPIs, and lead management-level audits (e.g., Storm audits).
  • Lead cross-functional quality meetings to define and implement action plans for risk reduction and quality improvement.
  • Manage escalation meetings and customer-driven quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and lead Supplier Quality Assurance to reduce the impact of non-conforming materials.
  • Conduct risk assessments for processes and departmental activities.
  • Monitor performance through data analysis and reporting (KPIs, statistical reports).
  • Lead and coordinate SPC, FMEA, QRQC, and other continuous improvement activities.
  • Oversee metrology-related activities at the project level and ensure adequate support when needed.
  • Act as the main contact for customer auditors and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Lead and coordinate IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 audits in collaboration with process owners.
  • Manage inspection and product release processes for incoming, in-process, and finished goods.
  • Review product specifications and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies related to quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.

Required personal and professional skills:

  • Technical University Degree;
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing industry (Quality Leadership role in automotive industry would be considered a strong advantage);
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and core quality tools (SPC, FMEA, QRQC, 8D, etc.);
  • Experience in managing customer complaints and audits;
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills;
  • Focused, target-driven with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent conflict management skills;
  • Fluent in English.
