Regional Work Methods Engineer

Your tasks.

Standardization of production times
Analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of people, machines, processes
Maintenance of new methods and practices checking
Standardization of processes
Participation in RFQ processes within developing BOLs
Participation in ergonomics designing jobs to ensure efficiency and productivity
Participate in maintaining the Standard Time system, by performing time study audits and providing feedback to Regional Work Methods
Establish new standard times when required for new processes
Work closely with the Lean Team and provide critical analyses of used work methods and constantly propose more efficient solutions to reduce & optimize the labor times
Develop standard workstation layouts with Lean Team and cascade to all Plants in EUSA Region
Prepare capacity study reports on critical equipment with the Region as required
Support the PESO activities in each Plant
Support the LBR (Line Balance Review) process in all EUSA Plants Work closely with the NPI teams in the European Region and assist in early process development

Your profile.

3 – 5 years of work experience in automotive industry preferred
Excellent knowledge of MTM Methodology and REFA
Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6S and Six Sigma knowledge
Fluent written and spoken English
Ability to take initiative and development orientation
Good communication skills
The role requires extensive travelling
