Road Freight Operation Specialist

To follow our vision and strategy, we’re looking for an experienced Road Freight Operations Specialist to join our freight forwarding team.

Requirements and skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in freight forwarding, international transport, import, export, and transit.
• Proficiency in domestic and international geography, including knowledge of countries and major cities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to proactively anticipate and resolve issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Strong ability to calculate freight measurements, weight, and convert them into international units.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to maintain high productivity levels while remaining calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify optimal operational transport solutions.
• Initiate contact with transport partners and access transport exchanges to negotiate the most advantageous solutions, including routes, transport channels, cargo loading plans, and pricing.
• Manage, monitor, and fulfill transport orders, ensuring the successful execution of services.
• Record all essential customer and transporter information in the TMS system.
• Verify the accuracy of documents received from transporters.
• Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with the company's clients and transport partners.
