We are a growing DOT Safety Consulting Agency based in Chicago, looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Assistants to join our team in Belgrade. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Pre-Employment Screening Process and Hiring and ensure that all applicants meet our company’s safety and hiring standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-employment screenings for new applicants.
  • Generate and review MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program) reports based on drivers’ licenses.
  • Perform FMCSA Clearinghouse record checks.
  • Communicate effectively with approved applicants via phone and email.
  • Schedule pre-employment drug tests through MedStop.
  • Collaborate closely with the Recruitment Team to efficiently process applicants and maintain a smooth hiring workflow.
  • Conduct online driver onboarding and hiring.
  • Gather required paperwork to create hiring files.
  • Obtain necessary trip permits.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to process and analyze records for a large number of candidates efficiently and accurately.
  • Previous experience in the trucking industry is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
